How to completely uninstall Read and Write DSA awarded software from a Mac.

To completely uninstall Read&Write for Mac, you should first remove the application from the Applications folder and then clear out any associated files and settings. For the Google Chrome extension, navigate to chrome://extensions and remove it.
Steps to uninstall Read&Write for Mac:

1. Uninstall the Application:
Open the Finder and navigate to the Applications folder.
Locate the Read&Write application icon.
If Read&Write is within a folder, open the folder and check for an "Uninstaller" application. If found, double-click it and follow the on-screen instructions. If no uninstaller is found, proceed to the next step.

If the application is not within a folder, drag the Read&Write application icon to the Trash.
2. Remove Related Files and Settings:

Open the Finder and go to the "Go" menu.
Select "Go to Folder..."
Type or paste the following paths and press Return:

~/Library/Application Support/ReadWrite
~/Library/Saved Application State/com.texthelp.ReadWrite.savedState
~/Library/Preferences/com.texthelp.ReadWrite.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.texthelp.ReadWrite.Preferences.plist

Delete all files and folders found in those locations.
Empty the Trash to permanently remove the files.

3. Uninstall the Google Chrome Extension:
Open Google Chrome and type chrome://extensions in the address bar.

Locate Read&Write for Google Chrome in the list of extensions.
Click the "Remove" button and confirm when prompted.

Important Notes:
If you have files created with Read&Write, they might not be accessible after the application is uninstalled.
If the Read&Write extension is greyed out, it means it was deployed by a Google admin and you cannot remove it on your own.
Hope this helps,
