Windows 11 settings for updates can be directly accessed using Edge, Firefox or Chrome here unless Uni policy/security is set to disable this.
from this/these pages you can select advanced options then optional updates to see any Laptop specific/driver/firmware updates that may be available.
With both these sub menus, Windows updates, and Windows update advanced settings, it may be necessary to "scroll down" to find these options/sub-menus/Optional Updates.
You can also "opt-out" of any non-essential updates you may not want or need, language packs, for instance.
Again, It can help with the random nature of the updates/Windows, deciding when you are in the middle of something being the best time.
