What to do to help users with Grammarly (accepting invites/confirmation emails/replacing members)

If a student gets in contact regarding help accepting their Grammarly invite, there is a link to the Grammarly support website which can help them through this process. (link below)

When receiving their invite, the invitation should be title one of these three titles:
  1. “You’re invited to join Your DSA provider on Grammarly for Education”
  2. or “You’re invited to join Assistive Solutions (Access to Work) on Grammarly"
  3. or "You’re invited to join Capita DSA Students on Grammarly for Education", depending on which license they invited the user to

Sometimes a student can complain if they haven't received a confirmation email once they have created their Grammarly account. Follow this link if this situation occurs. (link below) Asking the student to check their spam, promotional or any other folders and filters they are using In case it has gotten lost. There is also a link you can use once the student has looked and cant find the Grammarly email. (link below)

Using the link below, you can read on how to fix any issues regarding not receiving emails from Grammarly when a student is requesting a password reset. The link includes where to check in their emails, as well as bypassing white listing by adding specific emails to their contact list to receive these emails.

Email white listing

If an admin needs to resend an invitation to a different students email, you should remove the original email from the 'members list' first. There are instructions for this here. (link below) The same situation will arise when a user has changed their email address and needs to access their Grammarly via a different email.

There are situations when a students email link wont work. Please keep in mind that the invitation links are only valid for 30 days or until an admin removes the invitation from the members list. If the invite has expired, you can simply resend it. On some occasions, multiple Grammarly invites could be sent to the same email address. When this happens, only the most recent link will work.
