Who pays the £200 DSA contribution fee?

If you or someone you know if eligible for DSA and require a laptop, there is a £200 DSA contribution fee that would need to be paid. You only pay this contribution fee in certain scenarios. These being:

Those who require a laptop:
  1. New DSA students who require a laptop WILL need to pay the £200 contribution fee.
  2. Old students who have a personal laptop but need a replacement WILL need to pay the £200 contribution fee.
  3. Legacy customers from previous suppliers who have personal laptops but require a replacement WILL need to pay the £200 contribution fee.
Those who do not require a laptop:
  1. DSA students who only require software with no laptop WONT need to pay the £200 contribution fee.
***SIDE NOTE     Get in contact with your universities disability advisor. This will help you seek more information and advice about DSA and they may be able to recommend a hardship fund, charities or grants that can help pay for the DSA contribution fee (Sometimes they'll be willing the cover the full amount.)
