How to install your Canon DSA awarded printer on an ARM64 based Windows device such as a Surface.
If you see this error message or similar when trying to install the canon driver:
If your system is Arm64 based, the USB connection will work but the "normal" Canon driver/install will not.
Once the USB connection is up and running/the full printer setup process is then followed, adding the printer via wifi should be possible.
However, the "normal" Canon software will not run/even if it does it contains no arm64 driver. So CANON Print may be your only option for printing and scanning.

ook here at the Canon website, if in doubt try installing the most similar sounding printer, for example the driver for the Canon TR4700 is the same as the one for the 4750i, is the same for the 4755 is the same for the 4500.
If your system is not ARM64 based, the printer, via USB should be plug and play on "normal" Windows 10 or 11.
