My DSA awarded Claro Software, Text Help. Writing helper or other software has suddenly started asking me to use a Microsoft or Google email to sign in?
Since roughly March 1st of 2025 some Claro products, especially those only acquired by Claro in the last few years, may require you to "confirm your identity" before signing in proper using either Microsoft or Google email accounts.
While we cannot say for sure, at least some of this may be down to Microsoft Azure being integrated into Claro systems/software early in 2025.
In addition, a Uni email being essentially a Microsoft email may also be a part of this/by design going forward.
Most will simply then ask you again to confirm using Gmail or MS mail 9outlook, Uni email, Hotmail etc), some will not.
New sign ups will likely need to use one of those emails to confirm their identity going forward.
