My DSA awarded TalkType software does not seem to be able to see my Microphone.
Your issue may be something like:
My microphone isn't connecting in TalkType.
Talk Type says microphone permission is required, but when I go onto the settings bit, the application isn’t there for me to toggle microphone permission on and off, and there is no way to add it.

If you/the student/the user go to the TalkType preferences and select a microphone, this would solve the problem/list the Microphone in the Mac/Windows settings so you can then set a privacy option.
